new book finally came from amazon after months of delays. haven't got much into it other than a quick page through, but first impressions are good. it looks to be very detailed and should be a good read. much or most of the info may be old stuff to you seasoned folks, but to a noob like me at least, it should be a welcomed addition to my tech library. kind of wish I had this when I first got my 74 - might not have asked so many dumb questions - :D. details - paperback, about 8X10 inches, 224 pages. @ $50 (amazon), might seem a bit pricey, but it is what it is....

I have this book, it’s very informative and helpful. I’m currently rebuilding my mk3, I’ve only had the book a week but it’s already helped me a couple of times. The guy writing it tells you the mistakes he makes which is helpful. At the end of each chapter there is a section “things I’ve learnt” also very useful.

I picked up a copy at the classic bike show in February - cost me £18.

I've read perhaps 1/2 of it, but I find it‘s a bit too obvious in places and it’s not a good read in all.

Hello Onder. would you post a link to that video? Thank you
Not an online video, but is/was available from the Norton Owners Club as dvd. An engine rebuilD and a gearbox rebuild, two separate dvds.
