I finally got the bike drivable after getting it this winter. Previously, the bike had been in storage by both the previous two owners for over 28 years, and it was given to me in December of last year.

New rims & tires, new isolastics & swing arm bushings, new front brake, rebuilt caliper & master cylinder, new exhaust system, new bars & controls/cables, and lots of missing small items from bolts to springs among other things, and then figuring out where they go and how they fit took all spring, but I just took her out for her second ride today after getting it running a few weeks ago.

I have a alot of little things to finish up, but right now, I can ride it and see what else needs fixing or replacing and tear it down this winter to do it right.

It seems I have a small bit of oil that burns from what I think may be a head that needs re-torquing (hopefully) but she rides and handles pretty well for sitting so long. Yes...that's a pretty wide grin on my face right now....

Looks great! I'm curious what the new rims and tires are?

I believe the rims are CWC, and are an all stainless rim and spoke set. 19" up front and 18" rear. The tires are Michelin Pilot Activ, nice and sticky.

Thanks. To my eye anyway, your wheel/tire proportions look just right. I know I'm going to need to lace up new rims on my rebuild, and was hoping you could pass along your actual rim and tire widths. I would definitely consider the Michelin Activ's or Bridgestone BT45's if I went with an 18" rear rim. I really liked the BT45's that I put on a bevel Ducati I had not too long ago.

The rims have a part # of 06-1951 and WM2x19 for the front (disk) and a part # of 06-7838 for the 18" rear. Tires are 120/90-18 rear and 100/90-19 front. That's all I have on my receipt, but I can put you in touch with the shop I bought them from or get you what I paid for everything if you like. Feel free to PM me.
