If he road-raced a motorcycle, he has actually lived. So do not be sad for him. Be sad for the people who never really live their lives.
I am 81, and I do not care when I die, as long as it is not too soon. In the end, it does not matter. I should have been dead long ago. At 81, I consider myself to be a winner. I said that to a lady a few days ago - she is 97. A lot of my friends died in their 20s.
