Digging through my "metric wrench drawer" I came across these.

A Blast From the Past!

I traded my '67 A65T for my '64 Panhead in 1975! These have been lurking around in various toolboxes for 46 years, through 7 difference residences, 2 wives and a 3 year live in relationship with a third woman.

I also found this.

Already ground down to fit the chainguard bolt behind the left shock!

Hang on to those. Anything marked "Made In England" is rapidly (and very sadly) becoming rare.
Unfortunately the chrome combination wrenches are marked "SPAIN".

You managed to keep your Whitworth spanners away from your women,
did you mange to keep your Whitworth nuts?
When my ex brought up the subject of me getting a vasectomy I relied. "Honey I'm 40 years old I have never gotten pregnant once."

Some of the older Spanish stuff is very well made... Star pistols, CETME modelo C, FR-8, bayonets, etc.... Generally anything for military use.... including tools

Not to mention double barreled shotguns.

Yes, I had a budget Spanish over and under 12 gauge many years ago, if you wanted cheaper you bought Russian!

Can’t believe no one has called you out on this yet Dan1950…

You found your marvellous British Standard specimens in your METRIC drawer ?!

METRIC?!?

FFS !

That is so disrespectful sir.

And while we’re at it, such British Standard tools are SPANNERS.

Jus’ Sayin’…

And I will use British Standard wrenches to replace the countershaft bearing in my transmission.
