I've heard a few mentions of the 961 oil filter being the same as one of the new triumph models. Is this true? What model triumph and what is the filter part number if anyone knows. I'm due for the first change but my dealer is 40 minutes away and the local triumph dealer is just down the highway.
    Thanks guys!

I understand that it is a Bosch P9147, if that helps. FYI, my local dealer in SF (Munroe Motors) has them in stock and received from the Norton factory.

The Bosch P9147 is a cartridge type that's also listed for Mercedes Benz, so that should be a pretty easy score. So much for the dealer bitching about not getting enough. Sure hope more authorized dealerships open up, cuz these guys are just lame.
