Is this the first on the secondhand market? Must be?

I think these are amazing value for money given the build and I believe a heck of a lot of time and money went in to production. Long term I think these are a safe bet.

For all those in euroland (or further) who were unhappy these were for the uk market only, well now here’s your opportunity folks. Snap it up!

Oh, and with current gbp rates this should make it an even better buy.

I do like the Street model, still waiting on lotto though.
I hadn't noticed the different foot peg mounts until now, might get the riders feet tucked in a bit better?

Is it my imagination or does that bike have a longer front guard/fender or some kind of fender extender fitted.
If so, are they available from Norton ?

Front fender looks to be the same as fitted to my Anniv. CR Sam.

It's definately longer than mine Martin, I just checked. I specified the earlier type front guard with the bike,( Anniv. Cali) that has a different mounting and to some extent a bit of stanchion protection.
I guess this is why I've not had any problems with belting the oil cooler.

I’ve got the earlier mudguard too Sam... and it clouted the oil cooler. So worth keeping an eye on.

    I'd prefer a polished s/s 2-into-1 slip-on, but I do like the basic design.
Wonder if there are any grounding issues in right hand corners?

I’ve been told that the 2:1 works really well on this motor. Unfortunately Norton are too busy currently to offer the 2:1 to existing owners.

However, Ollie at Thiel Motorsports (same guy that made my ‘peashooters’) is working on a 2:1 as we speak...

If Ollie's 2-into-1 looks as good as his peashooters, it should be a winner.
Hope he hurries, I aint gettin' any younger.

How is the muffler hung ? Is there a bracket I cannot see behind ? Is it just the springs holding the muffler on and no bracket ? Has anyone heard how this exhaust sounds ? Is it very loud ? Can Rob let us know what the Street sounds like ? Thanks guys!

It’s loud, not outrageous but it is a bit rude. Pops and bangs on the overrun, even at 20 mph.

I went to Alldens today, local pipe bending firm, owner specialises in hand crafted m/cycle exhaust systems. We spoke about the 961, swapped ideas, he gave me the thumbs up then gave me an hour long guided tour of the works. If you want to see examples of his work look them up on his FB page, he doesn't advertise, doesn't need to as his order books are kept full from recommendations alone!

Nothing yet but fancy a set of 2into2 high rise pipes with silencers up near the rear hump. Just another crazy idea that is unlikely to see the light of day lol
