Hi all,

Does anyone know where you can buy the small plastic fixing clips/buttons (3 per side) that attaches the rubber sections together under the fuel tank on a 961? Alternatively, has anyone found & used anything that's better, as these are not exactly brilliant.!

Thanks.!

I use black tie wraps, not too tight so as not to tear the plastic and tucked up out of the way.
The original plastic fasteners are rubbish.
Got a few on the garage floor somewhere!!

Ok, thanks. Tie wraps or zip ties seem to be the top choice . . . . . . . . . so far! Any other (polite!) suggestions.!?

The velcro holding the rubber matts under the tank are virtually useless. I may install stainless snaps used for marine fabic tops.

Norton did eventually supersede the original shite two piece clips, with a much better design, around the final production year. If you contact the factory, they should have them in stock.

Having looked online, the new style and extremely good clips look identical to these in the link, albeit smaller (based on their measurements)....at least it gives you guys something to base your own internet searches on...

Ok, Ive really pulled all the stops out for you guys now...Ive found the dimensions you need if you're trying to match up those clips. Nortons clips had a diameter of 15mm, and the male side had an overall length of 18mm.
