Is it true, the 961-cranks are welded?

Norton UK must have all of Dreer's prototypes, and original engineering data.
Maybe the new 650 twin that Norton intend to build will be a classic 360 unit.

I mean once the oil leaves the oil pump it runs through galleries and how is it introduced to the crankshaft and rods ? Also it seems to me the hollow push rods carry the oil to the top end after they pressurize the lifters . The camshaft seems to be in a cavity all alone , there must be drain back channels somewhere ? I would like to have a few hours with that spare engine of yours to help explain how this engine is oiled . How much of the oiling is just plain old fashioned splash ? The service manual really has no explanation of this. Thanks for your help. Tony
