With help from Matt at CNW I transplanted a Tri-Spark from my detonated Combat to my emergency backup E-Bay chopper with an RH10 head, good compression and .040-over pistons.

Anyone have actual experience with jetting 932's for an RH10 850? The Combat Amals are installed on the 850 with the correct 32x30mm intake manifolds--many thanks for your help

What mufflers/exhaust and what air cleaner setup do you have on it ?
Thats what largely determines how far from the stock settings you'll need to be.

I think it's always a crap shoot. No two Norton breathe exactly alike. Set it up as the manual says and go from there. That way no body can be held responsible for leading you astray.

Seriously, you have to take your best shot. Don't expect to get it right the first time but it does happen.

You'll get going OK with 280 Main Jets, 106 Needle jet, No 3.5 Slide. There's not much difference from the Combat jetting. Put the Needle into the middle slot and turn the Idle Mixture screw out 1.5 turns as starting point.

Agree with ml, try it.
If not quite right, cutaway spray tubes & 850 needles.
