Did John Robert Bould (Landsdowne Engineering) make crankshafts? I don't think so.
You may be thinking of Dave Nourish .... he retired in 2014. -Knut

Whoa ! You are jumping the gun a bit here- I am talking about Landsdowne Engineering, -who made the suspension kits before & one piece cranks BEFORE Bould took over the suspension kits.

Landsdowne was a great loss. He understood bike suspensions.

FYI; I have a 88SS engine with a one piece Landsdowne crankshaft.

Landsdowne Engineering must have been a tiny operation. i can't find any traces of them on Internet. Do you know of an article about them?
As far as the (front fork) suspension kits go, they were a brainchild of John Robert Bold himself, according to his testimony.

JRB does refer to Landsdowne Engineering as being the fabricator. When did the latter entity become defunct?

Hey fast Eddie.

The vibrations are 85-100km / h after which Norton runs like a train.
No big problems, the engine works great, but the clutch plates didn't last so I have to replace the new discs.
Suspension and swing work better than expected.
Hopefully the same functionality will continue.
It feels crazy to accelerate when Norton's rear wheel strikes empty and the bow rises at the same time
