I hadn't noticed the 70 Commando Resurrection, good to see another Snorton being rebuilt :D Hope you don't mind me copying your heading GP :)

I picked up some bits n pieces from the Powder Coaters today & started to assemble a new project also. $165 is probably the least money I will spend to get the best value in having the frame etc looking good. If only the rest of the things I need to pay were such value

Got a start on the new project...

Now I am waiting on a new Camshaft & new main bearings, hopefully arrive by the middle to end of next week. Still have plenty of polishing to do to fill in the time waiting for parts though, love it :D

Still looking a kind person in Australia preferably, due to exorbitant postage cost from elswhere to sell me a good steel Interstate Tank :?:

$165 for powdercoat?

YOU WIN!!!

I thought the guy that paid $300 got a great deal....

Make sure if it wasn't masked, that you grind all powdercoating off the engine and tranny mounting bolt mating surfaces, as well as the isolastic matching faces and swingarm pivot cheek faces. Touchup bare ground (or previously masked areas) with Rust-O-Leum gloss black or equal heavy duty rust inhibiting spray enamel.
