Nice looking bike, the drum brake front end, gauges and 20M3S engine etc suggests it is pre 1972 (which has little in common with a 1972 given the multiple changes that year)
The side cover suggests 1970 or before.

Yeah, it's not all original, but it's all "period" stuff and reasonably decent-looking condition.
...and, it's in CA...
(probably the biggest marketplace for it)

I am amazed you do not know a 1970 or earlier Commando from a 1972 Commando as this thread is suggesting this bike is.
Have you even had a 20M3S Commando as this one is, I guess not.
It looks to be a nice 1970 model which has little in common with a 1972, Combat or non Combat spec.

You are easily amazed!
I never said it was X, Y, or Z, just that it was reasonably decent-looking, and had a fair price tag on it. With CL, you typically bargain for less at the close of the sale. I've seen much worse, sell for much more.
I have had FOUR (maybe it was 5? I forget) 20M3S Commandos, by the way (not that it means anything at all)
