This afternoon went to start it . Backfire device kicked in for the 1 st. time ever , with a loud clack and then a protest from the battery . I figured it must be more , so drained the primary of 20 W 50 and put in 5W -50 Synthetic , to match the engine oil change . Fired right up , but mangled my oil cap in the primary oil change process . Proper tool couldn't take it after putting a heat gun to the area and it slipped out in protest too .Threads were dry as a bone . Used a punch and hammer to move it out , seeing as the cap plug was mangled anyways . Drained old oil and put in the lighter synthetic .
