The retro themed Electra Glide is a nice looking large bike , no doubt $$$ ā€¦ all the new bells & whistle aids that supposedly make owner a better rider , imagine šŸ˜‰
 
My motorcycle dealer friend Murray describes the realtionship between Harley Davidson and it's customers this way:

Not much performance
Lots of money
Everybody's happy!

One in five hundred ride it like a motorcycle.
I spent miles & miles yesterday behind dawdlers running 5-10 below the speed limit, yet purposely blocking at any opportunity to overtake. It's a weird mindset.

I've often wondered about the riding under the speed limit thing in large groups
They are hard to get past because you don't want to have to dive into their group when a car or truck comes the other way
They are definitely not all like that
A Harley owning mate of mine got pulled by police simply because of the speed and manner he was riding they assumed it was a stolen bike!!! They just gave him a warning and let him go
 
A mate of mine has one...mind you he works in the finance sector...šŸ˜

Years ago getting tested before carpal tunnel fixes , the Doc manning electrodes , asked me bout bikes , then he wanted to know who rode the big Harleys , I replied guys like you , he broke up , with tears of laughter , a good fella ā€¦ got me in fixed up a wrists a month apart, so far so good !
