2019 Rugby World Cup

England don't usually lack for motivation when playing the All Blacks, it should be a good battle whichever way the result goes.
 
While not the outcome I had hoped for Wales had a very strong showing as well ! .... surprised with the final teams left to play for the Cup .... sure wish we had better coverage here !
 
Everyone was sure NZ would be in the finals but England and their couch Eddie had been training for that match for 2 years and knew where to attack the Kiwis, they stuck to their plan and kept up the pressure right to the end.

Its not the first time, some years ago it was a going to be an Australia, New Zealand final for sure................. Until New Zealand lost to France and Australia lost to South Africa (iirc) in the semi's.

They are not bad in defeat and there will still be thousands of fans waiting at the airport on their return home.I used to make a joke of it, if Australia loses any international game while oversea's it would not have surprised me if their passports were revoked so they couldn't get back in.

Was leaning to England being a better than even bet, hadn’t expected them to dominate the whole game. Very impressive, congrats to them.
I hope they can rise to the occasion in the final.
 
As much as NZ dismantled Ireland I had a feeling they were vulnerable. Other that the first SA game they weren't really tested in this WC to date. England have been a force since the 6N and put on an incredible display. Barring one error they played an almost perfect game. NZ are wounded but no doubt will be back better than ever after this defeat.
 
I forgot about that........ A Bronze will do nicely and the after game and medal hand out was very down to earth.
