2015 norton 961 14k miles, $8500

Yes fast eddies right, what started off as interested wow that’s a great price ended up with name calling, Trouble with social media is that it can get ramped up quickly thru misinterpreting what’s really being said, either by differences in grammar or not really grasping what’s being said, Tony A is not an offensive guy at all, having met him along with dozen or so others on here, forums are to share the knowledge of the common interest,& on this one it’s the 961,Orange 3 got our attention with his opening line & then when quiet , prob as he was crossing his fingers & talking to dealer hoping to complete the purchase & of course , so let’s back peddle & continue to talk bikes

Asshat has to be one of the strangest insults ever.
What does it mean, you have extremely poor taste in hats?
You wear a large roundy hat that may have been designed by scribing around Kim Kardashian's silhouette?
No wonder ESL people struggle with English.
Much of it makes no sense!

Glen

Actually, asshat as defined in the Merriam Webster dictionary:

a stupid, annoying, or detestable person : asshole
  • “My boyfriend does that all the time,” she said. “Stays up all night playing Call of Duty, and then he's a grumpy asshat all day … ”
  • —Tom Clancy and Peter Telep, Against All Enemies, 2011
We should therefore consider ourselves properly insulted!

I guess we can then attach "ass" to almost anything to create a new insult.
I'm going with asspants as pants are generally larger than hats.
Although I was once called " Monkeypants" by a Waitress and I thought this was a compliment.
After Asshat I'm not really sure of anything...

someone seems to get it...
Yea, I totally get the just wanting to ride part. Laying out that kind of money to become a better mechanic isn't exactly what I had in mind. That said, I've received much good free and friendly advice from TonyA, so I had no intentions of this back and forth to enter the realm of name calling and one-upmanship. Tony is a good person, but sometimes our sarcastic little comments don't quite get read with the humor that was intended. Sorry Tony.

God forbid.
Richard, don't even joke like that.
Rather see it go to Mahendra.
if that happened the residuals of "British built" bikes would soar.I bought my mk2 50th anniversary on a whim,at Bike show.No intention.Saw it and left deposit with sales guy.Who didnt actually try to sell it to me.My other Commando is a 1970,my Norvin is well, older! Ive never bought anything remotely new.I sat on it.Then realised it was going home with me.
Any idiocyncracies with the 961 will be swallowed up in time.A bit like Ferrari.Ever driven one? Most drive like crap, with clutches youd get in a 40 ton lorry, have electrical systems, well like most Italian cars.Owners see it as character! Emotion soon overides every other consideration.

I took delivery of my domi naked in September and had a few issues, I contacted dave at the factory and I took it to my local Honda dealer 10 miles away and they fixed the issues under warranty no problem. Maybe things have changed since this post was created, the guy is called dave Moore, and he was very helpful, ask for him when you phone the factory.
