1975 blinkers / turn indicators ?

Whats the deal with the turn indicators on the 1975 models ?, are they standard fit ?.

Many of the 1975 models I am presently looking at have no indicators.

When were they mandated to be fitted ?.

In the US, much of the time they were promptly binned, in search for the "Easy Rider" look in the searing 70's.. :lol: IIRC, USDOT mandated them model year 1973 forward. No idea in Oz

Josh all MK3 "S had the standard Lucas chromed plastic indicators ( prince of darkness ) Norton part number 99-1190 makers number 56147 .Proof they were all fitted ex works is your cosole it has an amber indicator light marked Turn also Lucas handle bar switch turn signals left right .
