I thought the cowbell was just right.

Not too pushy, not too sparse.
 
Even the announcing was done is a typically very 70's understated, professional manner.
Unlike today where the announcers seem to over reach while attempting to inject or add artificial excitement into the event.
In the early 70's Triumph/BSA really put a great deal of money into AMA Grand National Competition, road racing and dirt track.
They were force to be reckoned with back then.
I loved to watch Dick Mann and Gary Nixon at work, and the sound of their triples.
Great stuff.
