I have in my shop a 68 CS that is missing the coil brackets and the part of the tool box where the batteries reside. Just a tool box with a large hole in the back is all that is there currently. Can anyone post photos of this area? This is a late version with points ignition. Also parts sources would be appreciated!
Thanks, Bill

A suitable Lucas coil holder could be obtained from the car breakers off most British cars, you just need 2.

I have recently gotten a '66 N15CS 'mostly complete' basket case that is missing the whole tool box, battery tray and cover, so I am interested to see what it looks like and where to get one. Mine has a magneto but also a pair of coils in the pile of parts, no idea what bike it's from. Same boat as you trying to figure out parts. Well I have a bunch of parts just not the whole lot!

Norvil has broadened its supply of G15/N15 parts recently.
031520 bare metal tool box less cover (there are also versions 029550, 029551, 030257 - check your parts book)
131520 painted metal tool box less cover
030094 Battery carrier, 12V battery, painted black
048454 Strap for battery
014511SS Knurled screw for tool box lid, stainless st
027044 Pin, battery strap

048300 Tool box lid is available from the AJS/M O.C. (UK).

Some or all fixing parts and sundries are available from AMC Classic Spares.

I hope this helps

Bill,
I found this photo on this forum. The coils and brackets are the same as used on P11's (17MA12 Lucas, the fat one's). There is a strap (P/N 033009) that fits to the frame and battery box, but I don't have a photo.

Also from our earlier discussion today, this photo shows the keyswitch fits on the left side behind the air filter. (You may need to download the photo and enlarge it to see.)
