“Interesting” frame mods...

Which mod, adding a magneto to a 79, or taking said magneto off and replacing it with a Pazon but not using a normal timing cover. The last one seems to be just a way to get the magneto sold at a profit.

Ahh, yes, that’s probably what he did. Thus ending up with a pointless mod (pun intended)!

What about the frame mods... that’s a heck of a thing to do to the downtubes to fit an exhaust innit ?!?
 
Going for a look, once you decide the tubes give little structural gain between the 2 engine mounting points you can hack it off, save weight and look custom.
 
Perhaps a D model is different? My 79 has a long torque rod from swingarm pivot area to the caliper mounted on top of the rotor...
