Just got a new bike the other day. It's a 1998 Kawasaki ZG1000 Concours. It's got 70,000 miles on it but has been well kept by the previous owner. Regularly serviced and maintained. It runs and looks as new. I've been perusing Facebook marketplace ads for an inexpensive and ride ready bike for awhile when I saw this one. The owner was asking for $1950.00 which after checking the bike out and a nice test ride, I thought it was a reasonable price. Even though the price was right I still asked if he was firm or would he entertain a lower offer. He asked how much lower and I countered with $1750.00 and after a little deliberation he accepted. And that's how I got a new bike. SWMBO was NOT consulted and had no clue about my purchase. I met her at the dog club and when she got out of her car and all she did was shake her head and mutter, "Really, another one"? Good thing she loves me.

Good for you Larry. Enjoy it . I sold my Honda ST 1300 last year after 17 years .
What do I see lurking behind the bikes - Ford 8n ?

Fantastic bike, the Connie.

I had my late kid brother's original '86, then had a much newer '03; they felt IDENTICAL.

If it ain't broke, DON'T "fix" it!
